We support writers of all ages and all professional levels by facilitating community connections and providing a space to present their work. We book all presenters in advance. Each presenter has up to 15 minutes of stage time (up to about 2,000 spoken words) to share their in-progress and/or published writing.
We accept submissions year-round and book presenters for the following year starting in July.
If you are interested in reading with us at one of our monthly events, let us know who you are and why you’re interested in our series.
We prioritize submissions from members of traditionally underrepresented groups. If this is you, let us know in the body of your message.
Due to the number of requests we receive, we are limited to the volume of requests we can personally reply to. One day we hope to have a bigger team to reply to everyone in a very timely manner! Until then, thank you for being patient with our very small team of volunteers.
FOR PUBLISHERS
If you would like us to consider booking one of your authors for a reading, author talk, or our annual festival, we are able to accommodate a limited number of these requests throughout the year.
If you would like to table at our annual festival in June, we offer publishers more information upon request.
